FEBRUARY STEPPING STONES IS NOW AVAILABLE

We have launched our February Stepping Stones! This edition features some inspired community updates from around the country.   

You can read about an upcoming generation of young leaders in Lismore, NSW, from the Ghurrumbil Dreaming Indigenous Corporation. We first worked with them on a business development plan for a youth centre. Their dream is to provide support to the local youth and young adults by providing services such as mentoring, training, and counselling. 

You’ll also read about Taribelang Aboriginal Corporation - who are a great example of how one project often leads to another. They approached us to develop a soft skills program, which soon led on to a second project based on sourcing funding to roll-out the program. 

Stephanie Harvey, Community First Development CEO, said with the continued support of our supporters, “First Nations people can use their own strengths and local knowledge to achieve community goals – and keep control of their own development decisions.”

Our projects are community-driven and have a lasting impact in communities long after we have finished working with them.
