THE ROLE
This is an exciting opportunity to lead fundraising for a values-driven, First Nations–led organisation making meaningful, long-term change.
Reporting to the General Manager, Supporter Engagement, the Fundraising Manager is responsible for delivering sustainable revenue growth across individual giving, annual appeals and digital fundraising. You will lead donor acquisition, retention and stewardship, ensuring all fundraising activity is donor-centred, culturally appropriate and aligned with Community First Development’s community-led approach.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
Lead the planning and delivery of annual fundraising plans and budgets
Drive income growth across individual giving, appeals and digital channels
Build and manage the donor pipeline from acquisition to long-term stewardship
Monitor performance, manage budgets and report to leadership and the Board
Ensure fundraising is ethical, culturally responsive and values-aligned
ABOUT YOU
You are a strategic and hands-on fundraising professional who thrives in a collaborative, purpose-led environment.
YOU WILL BRING:
Proven success delivering multi-channel fundraising programs, including digital and appeals
Experience building and managing donor pipelines, from acquisition to retention
Strong relationship management and communication skills
Experience managing budgets, forecasting and performance reporting
Confidence using CRM systems and digital fundraising tools
A proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused approach
Alignment with Community First Development’s values and community-led ethos
DESIRABLE:
Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities or Indigenous-led organisations
Understanding of culturally responsive fundraising and ethical storytelling
