PANEL DISCUSSION: MOVING BEYOND THE GAP

@communityfirstdevelopment.png

The Macro Analysis panel discussion, hosted by CEO of Community First Development, Stephanie Harvey, talks candidly with Karen Milward, Chair, and Lauren Ganley, Director on the board of Community First Development, about the organisations' latest research report, the 3 Year Macro Analysis.

The panel provides insights into the cumulative effect of the organisation's community development activities over the past three years and how strong and capable communities address the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people across Australia. Also highlighted in this robust discussion is the organisation's contribution to national government programs' broader landscape.

The key messages throughout the discussion are that we must focus our efforts and attention on where we are heading: beyond the gap.

Community First Development is actively involved in First Nations communities and established as a thought leader in First Nations community and economic development and research, monitoring and evaluation.

We are delighted to share this panel discussion with three of Community First Development’s Senior Aboriginal women as they come together to yarn about the organisation’s values and approach and provide a snapshot of some of the organisation's achievements over the past three years.

We hope you enjoy listening to this discussion. Please email the team with any questions at communications@communityfirstdevelopment.org.au, or you can find a copy of the 3 Year Macro Analysis Report on the Community First Development website - www.communityfirstdevelopment.org.au
